Refund Policy

1. Our Commitment
Legaldirectory.ai is committed to delivering every service to the highest standard. If you are unsatisfied with a delivered service, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will work to resolve your concern fairly.
2. Eligible Refund Scenarios
A full refund will be issued in the following circumstances:
- The service was not initiated within the committed timeframe and no prior notice was communicated.
- A duplicate payment was made by the user for the same service booking.
- The service was cancelled by Legaldirectory.ai due to inability to assign a suitable lawyer.
- A verified technical error resulted in an incorrect charge.
- The user cancels within 2 hours of payment and before lawyer assignment.
3. Non-Refundable Scenarios
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
- The service has been delivered in full — report, drafted document, or government document procured.
- The refund request is raised more than 7 days after service delivery.
- Cancellation is requested after a lawyer has been assigned and work has commenced.
- Delays were caused by the user's failure to provide required documents or information in a timely manner.
- Dissatisfaction with the legal outcome (property title decision, court ruling, government rejection) which is beyond the Platform's control.
- Change of mind after service delivery.
4. Partial Refunds
In cases where work has partially commenced, a partial refund may be considered at Legaldirectory.ai's sole discretion, based on the extent of work completed. This will be communicated in writing.
5. Refund Process & Timelines
- Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method (UPI, card, net banking, wallet).
- Processing time: 7–10 working days from approval date.
- Razorpay and bank processing timelines may vary and are outside our control.
- Refund confirmation will be sent via WhatsApp and email.
6. Liaising Officer (₹99 Service)
For the Liaising Officer document procurement service, refunds are available only if the document was not procured within 48 hours with no prior communication from our team. Once a document has been successfully procured and delivered, no refund is applicable.
